So say we all

Disclaimer: This won’t make any sense if you don’t watch “Battlestar Galactica.” Also, I’m aware that this is evidence of my nerdiness. I’m OK with that.

BattlestarRockford and I spent many long nights last year catching up with “Battlestar Galactica.” Now there are only two episodes left, and I’m not liking the direction we seem to be heading. I’m hoping it’ll be otherwise, but here’s my official prediction for how the show will end:

  • Adama assembles a skeleton crew to man Galactica. They find The Colony. They fly Galactica straight inside and fire up the ol’ FTL. Boom. Space dust. The end.
  • Sounds bleak, doesn’t it? This season has been 99.9% depressing. But at least there’ll always be the memory of Fat Apollo.

    1. It has been depressing. The original show, while great when I was give or six years old, was rather poor and often seemed to end with the freeze-frame grin. This show is saying something real, and for that I’m glad. My complaint is that it feels like they’ve been spinning their wheels for the past six episodes or so. We got a big reveal but not much foward progression.

I admit that I’ve hated watching Adama Sr. devolve into a drunken, depressed, uxurious boyfriend. You’ve got to admit that the mutiny stuff with Richard Hatch and how it was finally resolved was great, though.

    3. I have really been unhappy with this season… even so, I will cry when its over. I mean it, cry. I’m a bigger nerd than you are.

    4. I’m hopeful for some resolution..oh and I’m hopeful that something will happen to Starbuck that will make me like her again.
