Jana at Jana’s Thinking Place has been hosting Stream of Consciousness Sundays for awhile now, and this is the first time I’ve joined in. The (totally optional) prompt today is “I’m annoyed by…” so I’m going to take the next 5 minutes to tell you about things that annoy me.
And: go!
- My eyelid has been twitching for days and days and days, and it is very annoying. Maybe I need more potassium? I think someone told me that lack of potassium causes twitchy eyelids.
- I find it very, very annoying when my kids get water all over the bathroom during their baths. Pete is in there right now, and I’m hoping not to be met with a flood when I get him out. (My mom is in the bathroom with him; he isn’t entirely unattended. Speaking of which, how old does a kid need to be to take an entirely unattended bath?)
- Almost every car dealership ad every made annoys me.
(Poppy keeps calling herself Princess Miamor Cadenze Cadence Cadenza. Is that from Phineas and Ferb? It sounds like it might be. I don’t find the name or Phineas and Ferb annoying, but this is supposed to be Stream of Consciousness, so I’m typing whatever pops into my head.)
- I’m a little bit annoyed that I haven’t spelled “consciousness” correctly once in this entire post. Until that time; nailed it.
- Cats who eat stink bugs and throw up? Annoying. Not that I would have any experience with that, JJ T. Cat.
And: time!
EWW on the water and double EWWWW on the cats! Never heard of that and I hope not to experience it. Ever.
Boom! You did it! That stink bug thing freaks me out. Never thought about it.
A nurse friend once told me to eat a banana when my eye is twitching. Banana = potassium.
Oh I know! I told my kids the other day they had to start cleaning up with water they get everywhere and it had to be done right. I get so annoyed with ridiculously wet bathrooms after kids have been in there too!! 🙂
The Eyelid thing! I have that sometimes. It started at the end of my pregnancy and I haven’t experienced it in a while. It sucks but it’s good to know that I know you and you know exactly what I am feeling.
Alia takes baths and showers unattended. Although the door is wide open and we are just in the next room.
I LOVE IT!! The eyelid thing bugs the HELL out of me!!
