Well, I lasted six days into NaNoWriMo this year before I threw in the towel. Someday I’ll come to terms with the fact that our Novembers are just way too busy for writing 1,667 words a day.

November is a BRUTAL month to hold NaNoWriMo. If it were say in… wait, no, we’re moms, there are no “down” months! Though January or February would be easier.
It really is tough. I’m not giving up, but I’m struggling. What month would be better? I was thinking January, but I know things will be tough then, too. Between my son’s birthday, my birthday, work, sick kids, kids being out of school for Election Day and Thanksgiving, I’m feeling a little discouraged…but I’m still trying. 8,000 words in is too much to quit now. I think.
hehe I hear you Nichole! I started pretty strong last week, trying to catch up for the start of the month, but have totally fizzled… and haven’t got back to it yet… the icon for my document sits on the desktop, taunting me…been thinking I might just flip to working on blogging….you keep doing your blog thing! I enjoy reading it 🙂
