- Poppy eating almost all of her sweet potato by herself.
- Singing along to “Sara Smiles” while making dinner.
- Poppy snuggling in the recliner with Rockford.

- Poppy’s goodnight kisses through the bars of her crib.
- Turniphead on “Howl’s Moving Castle.”
- Getting a remote for the camera.

- Rockfordia garlic fries, steak and fruit salad, all prepared by Rockford.
- Poppy’s first sentence: “Have fun!”
- Dad finally painting his kitchen.
- Boston Rob being back on TV.
- Rockford loving me so very much.

- Seeing Justin and Carrie.
- Playing the Wii; Carrie’s Tae-Bo boxing technique.
- A good photo session.
- Lasagna.
- Poppy falling asleep in Rockford’s lap at dinner.

- Going to a My Morning Jacket show with Rockford.
- The opening act playing “She’s Like the Wind.” The girl next to me asking, “What movie is this from?” Thus making me feel old. But it still made me laugh.
- The guy in the Joy Division t-shirt and bright blue sports coat.
March 9
- Turkey pot pie.
- Mom and Andy loving the Asian noodle recipe.
- Talking to Andy’s science teacher.
- Justin got the job!! Which means he’ll be living an hour away from us this summer!!
March 10
- Barbecue.
- Giant ice cream sundaes.
- Watching “Monk.”
