Today is my stepbrother’s birthday (happy birthday, Wayne!), which means that my birthday is one month away. Rockford asked me awhile ago what I’d like; consider this my official response:
- New boots. I especially like these. They’re Clarks, and they’re about $110 more than I usually spend on shoes. By which I mean: Don’t buy these, Rockford. But if you do, pretend like you got a terrific discount.
- A new iPod. My current iPod still plays music, but I can’t add to it or change anything already on it. This renders it not particularly iPod-ish.
- A Barnes & Noble gift card. I still haven’t actually purchased anything for my Nook, but I’d like to do so. And I would, too, if I had a gift card.
- A Scentsy home-scentification thing. And maybe some wonderful–smelling things to go in it.
- A new slow cooker. My old one turned into a crazyfast cooker, which is not the point of a slow cooker at all. Fall is upon us, and it’s time to stew some stews and roast some roasts. And the one I linked to there? It’s currently half price.
- A giant stack of chocolate. Preferably with toffee.
update!
Today is also Sally’s birthday! Clearly, I am a bad niece-in-law. Happy birthday, Sally!
Oo love the boots!
I have a crockpot like that and love LOVE it. The only problem is the crock is so big I have to rearrange the fridge to fit it in, or put everythingin another container, which means having to wach the crock and I’m lazy.
The boots, with chocolate…that would be awesome.

I too would also like $1 million dollars for my birthday.
I saw that exact crock pot at Costco this weekend, if I hadn’t just bought a new one because gravity defying juices ruined my other one (ie I spilled onto the electrical board) I would have bought it, it looked nice. I think I like all your other choices too!

1. I just had to get a new slow cooker, too, because mine would cook everything in about an hour. It was a fire hazzard! I got the Hamilton Beach with all the fancy timers/settings and love it!! Should have done it a long time ago and I highly recommend it. 2. I love everything on your list, especially the boots. 3. I haven’t tried the Scentsy stuff yet because every outlet in our house is horizontal instead of vertical which is highly annoying. 4. How were the chocolates from Paris?
