You may have noticed things looking a little different around here. I decided a while back to switch from Blogger to Word Press after a very frustrating and ultimately failed effort to redesign the site. Word Press has some great templates, many of which achieved the look I was trying to design on my own. Although Word Press does offer hosting on their site, I wanted to run the site from our domain. That would have been very, very difficult to do, because I don’t know a darn thing about “SQL” or “databases” or other scary, technical stuff. But thanks to Samuel from install4free, it was an entirely painless process.

Justin and Carrie dropped by for a few days, and they agreed to let me practice my photography on them. They were very good sports, and they even pretended to have a little bit of fun. I’m pretty happy with the way the photos turned out. The full set is on Flickr. Please let me know what you think!

Poppy will eat spinach, but only if it’s on pizza or inside a ravioli. In those cases, she can hardly get enough of it. As for any other veggie? I can’t get her to try anything else. I tried to give her four itty-bitty edamame pods with her lunch today, and she gagged when one of them touched her lip. What’s a mommy to do?
