I posted this one year ago today. I think this means Nov. 9 is officially the day I tell you I quit NaNoWriMo again.

Last night as I was putting Pete to bed, he patted my head and said, “My sweet mama.” Tonight he told me to call him Buzz Lightyear as he flew around the kitchen, then he pressed a “button” on his arm and lasered Emperor Zurg. Year Three is treating us well thus far.

I’m officially declaring a favorite villain: The Whammer from “WordGirl.” He’s totally wham. Yeah! (Also: If you aren’t watching “WordGirl,” you’re missing out.)
