In which we discuss matters of the family.
Poppy still has her cough but, as you can see, it doesn’t seem to be getting her down. We took her to the doctor today; her lungs and her ears are clear, so the doctor didn’t seem too concerned. We’re supposed to call back Friday if she’s still congested.
Poppy is really enjoying her visit with Grandma Kaye … or Granny … or Grandma …
She hasn’t decided what she wants to be called yet. We’re considering some international options. “Grandma” in Dutch is “Grootmoeder.” In Chinese, it’s “NaiNai.” I’m kind of partial to that. Here are a few others from Banana Nana:
After weeks of working toward sitting up, Poppy is finally able to do it! At least, she can sit up for long enough for me to take a picture. As long as she doesn’t try to lean in any direction. But hey, it’s progress! She’s getting so big!
