Tonight’s dinner brought to you by bees

Honey dinner!

    Honey-mustard roasted potatoes
recipe adapted from the National Honey Board
    1 lb new red potatoes
    1/4 cup Dijon mustard
    1/8 cup honey
    salt and pepper to taste

Wash potatoes and cut each into 4 to 6 pieces; set aside. Whisk together mustard, honey, salt and pepper in a small bowl. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with honey mustard until coated evenly. Arrange potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until potatoes begin to brown around the edges, stirring potatoes once or twice during cooking.

  • Appetizers

Today’s photo a day prompt was “something beginning with A.” Now, I know that narrows it down to only about a billion and fifty things, but I had a very hard time finding something to take a picture of for this one. We didn’t have any apples, and I was too shy to ask Poppy’s ballet teacher if she would do an arabesque for me. So I ended up very quickly snapping the menu board while we ate dinner.

Not my best effort, but the queso was delicious.
