Alright, here’s the whole story. It’s a Steely Dan concert, and it’s about 3 and a half hours from home. Rockford and his longtime cohort Don suggested that we have a family birthday party at Rockford’s parent’s house in the early afternoon, then leave the children with his parents and flit off to the show. As you may guess from the mildly biased poll choices, I am not in favor of this. Not that I don’t like Steely Dan, but we have seen them live before. And a girl only turns 4 once.
I don’t know if I can vote. I might need more information.

options, plural. But, really, if one of the options is “beastly”, do you really have an option at all?
This is one of those times when i’m glad I’m single and childless. Okay…not really, but those are hard conversations to have.
Really, isn’t “beastly” a little harsh? I bet he’s a pretty good guy once you get to know him…
I think that there are probably other options, but I figure it’s a rhetorical poll. But Steely Dan is maybe not worth skipping your daughter’s birthday, Al.
